Halen moved to Toronto to pursue his dream of filmmaking. He has participated in multiple film initiatives including Reelworld’s E20 Writing Program and Black Entrepreneurs Program for Casting. The latter of which he developed an interest in how the casting process works and started his journey casting background talent. He has also had the opportunity to cast independent short films before joining Jigsaw. If he’s not working, he’s probably rewatching his favourite TV shows.
